Abelia Canyon Creek

Canyon Creek Abelia grows larger than Rose Creek, 4-6' tall and wide.  Flowers are fragrant, light pink, borne in clusters from May until frost.  A good hedging plant, ideal choice for the mixed border.  Drought-tolerant, deer-resistant.  Grows well in full sun to partial shade.  They may require some light pruning from time to time to remove lanky shoots.  Otherwise looks best when allowed to develop a natural, informal look.
