Acorus calamus 'Variegatus'

This Sweet Flag bears long narrow leaves with clean lines of creamy white bands; releases a pleasing cinnamon scent when crushed or broken.  In former times were strewn around rooms to counteract smells of cooking or garbage.  Flowers are tiny and greenish.  Full sun is best but partial shade is tolerated.  Use beside or in the pond.
