Gaillardia g. Burgundy
Large wine-red flowers in June-August over gray-green foliage. Grows 24-30″ tall. This is a heat tolerant native for full sun or light shade. Does best in light well-drained soils. Trim back old crowns to increase the production of new growth and to encourage rebloom. Nice cut flower. Attracts butterflies. Evergreen. Drought tolerant.
